Biography
Ritu is an Atlanta native and a Parkview High School alumnus. She attended Georgia State University, graduating with distinction in major and magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Science in Psychology. After a career in research, she found her true interest lay in medicine. She returned to school to pursue her passion in medicine as a Physician Assistant (PA) and completed her studies at Quinnipiac University. While at Quinnipiac she was part of the Urban Scholar Track program through UCONN SOM, where she participated in a multidisciplinary team-based approach to provide care in medically underserved communities.
Ritu was delighted to return to Georgia and join Pediatric Partners of Gwinnett after spending 15 years in Connecticut where she started her early career as a pediatric PA. Ritu thoroughly enjoys the practice of pediatrics and finds it immensely rewarding to participate in her patients’ lives to optimize their health and well-being. In her free time, she appreciates spending time and traveling with her husband and 2 children.
